Quail Ridge Park Neighborhood

The Quail Ridge Park neighborhood is located at the center of town and can be accessed from Zeller St. It is home to approximately 250 households and is in the Iowa City Community School District. Residents are within walking distance to several businesses, restaurants and a grocery store. Nearby parks include Quail Ridge Park, equipped with a shelter, playground and basketball court, and Liberty Centre Park, which includes a stocked pond for fishing, a perimeter trail, and a resident guard-goose–who claims the pond’s dock as its home each spring.

My hidden talent
I taught myself how to juggle.

Five years from now I hope North Liberty
Is continually growing, has more resources for those who need it, and more community events.

A business I’d like to see here
It would be really cool if there could be a drive-in movie theater.

My favorite item that I’ve purchased recently under $100
A pint of Heyn’s chocolate ice cream with Oreos, caramel and pralines.

My favorite North Liberty business Big Picture Gallery & Studio. The owner connects with and cares for her students, my son enjoys taking art lessons, and we enjoy the take-and-make projects.

My hobbies
I enjoy listening to audio books. I’m a multitasker so while I’m driving, cleaning or going for walks, I’m most likely listening to an audiobook.
