RFP Overview
The City of North Liberty is seeking proposals from qualified graphic design professionals or agencies to create a logo for our under-construction event center, that includes a stage and event hall, in Centennial Park. The logo must align with the City’s existing branding while incorporating a naming-rights partner. This logo will be prominently displayed on the building, as well as in printed and digital materials.
Objective
The primary objective of this project is to develop a logo that:
- Aligns with the City of North Liberty’s existing logo in terms of aesthetic and brand identity.
- Accommodates integration with a naming-rights partner’s logo.
- Maintains versatility for use in various formats, including building signage, printed collateral, and digital platforms.
Scope of Work
The selected vendor will:
- Conduct a discovery meeting to understand the City’s and naming-rights partner’s identity and requirements.
- Develop 3–5 initial logo concepts for review.
- Refine one chosen concept based on feedback.
- Provide concepts for permanent sign design on the north entrance and on the stage.
- Ensure the logo is scalable and versatile for:
- Building signage (large scale).
- Printed materials (stationery, brochures, etc.).
- Digital platforms (websites, social media, email marketing).
- Deliver final files in multiple formats (vector, raster, etc.) and resolutions suitable for all uses.
Proposal Requirements
Interested parties must include the following in their proposals:
- Company Profile:
- Name, address, and contact information.
- Overview of experience with similar projects.
- Portfolio of relevant work.
- Project Approach:
- Description of your design process.
- Proposed timeline for the project.
- Budget:
- Detailed cost breakdown.
- Any additional expenses (e.g., revisions, travel).
- References:
- At least three client references with contact information.
Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following:
- Quality and relevance of portfolio.
- Demonstrated ability to align designs with existing branding.
- Understanding of the project scope and objectives.
- Cost and value provided.
- Client references and satisfaction.
