Our indoor pool is, unfortunately closed until further notice. Last night, a motor failed and will need to be replaced. We hope to have a timeline for reopening later in the week of May 13.

City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

RFP Overview

The City of North Liberty, Iowa is seeking a company to provide an appliance package for the City Hall construction project.

RFP REQUIREMENTS:

The following items need to be included in the submitted proposals:

Appliances – Stainless Steel Finish

  • Refrigerator/Freezer
    • Quantity: 3
    • Specifications:  no ice and water in the door. Prefer French doors with bottom freezer
    • Capacity: at least 18 cu ft.
    • Maximum Dimensions: 36 inches wide, 30 inches deep
  • Dishwasher
    • Quantity: 2
    • Maximum Dimensions: 24 inches wide, 30 inches deep, 36 inches tall
  • Ice Machine
    • Quantity: 1
    • Specifications: air cooled, drain required, ice maker and bin
    • Capacity: at least 20 lb. capacity
  • Microwave
    • Quantity: 1
    • Specifications:  countertop
    • Capacity: at least 1.5 cu ft.
    • Maximum Dimensions:  33 inches wide, 21 inches deep
  • Microwave with convection capability
    • Quantity: 1
    • Specifications: countertop
    • Capacity: at least 1.5 cu ft.
    • Dimensions: 33 inches wide, 21 inches deep
  • Coffee System
    • Quantity: 1
    • Specifications: will hold at least two decanters of coffee.  Decanters should be included in the price.
    • Dimensions: coffee bar is 73 inches wide and 30 inches deep

Requirements

  • Appliances must be delivered and installed in the new City Hall Project located at 360 N. Main Street, North Liberty, Iowa.
  • Delivery and installation will be within two weeks of substantial completion of the project, estimated to be April 15, 2024.
  • Provide detailed warranty terms and procedures on all equipment.
  • Provide an explanation of product service capabilities and availability.

Note

Substitutions may be considered.

Evaluation Criteria

The proposals will be evaluated on price, warranties, service, ability to meet deadlines, and ability to provide installation services.
