Main Street Improvements
RFP Overview
Sealed Bids for the construction of the North Liberty Main Street Improvements Project will be received, by City of North Liberty, at North Liberty City Administration Building, 3 Quail Creek Circle, until 11:00 AM local time on February 12, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project will involve the following: Removal of existing North Main Street HMA roadway, to be reconstructed with PCC urban roadway between Cherry Street and Dubuque Street. The work also involves removal and replacement of PCC sidewalks and driveway approaches. Other items include water main, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, permeable paver parking stalls and pavement markings.
The work must commence by the late start date of April 8, 2019 and must be substantially completed within 60 working days.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Shive-Hattery, Inc., 2839 Northgate Drive, Iowa City, IA 52245, and 319-354-3040. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents, including one unbound copy of the Bid Form and Bid Bond may be secured at DB Reprographics, Inc., 1207 Highland Court, Suite B, Iowa City, Iowa 52240, (319) 359-1069. There is no deposit for the plans and specifications, but there is a shipping charge (UPS) of $25.00 made payable to DB Reprographics, Inc. Bidding Documents may be viewed and ordered online at: dbreprographics.planroomdirect.com.
