City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

North Liberty Penn and Front Corridor Improvements

RFP Overview

Sealed Bids for the construction of the North Liberty Penn and Front Corridor Improvements project will be received, by City of North Liberty, at North Liberty City Administration Building, 3 Quail Creek Circle, until 10:00 AM local time on February 5, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project will involve the following: Reconstruction of the Front Street and North Bend Drive intersection (Division 1), and the Penn Street and Front Street intersection (Division 2) as single lane urban roundabouts with 9-inch PCC paving.  Intersection work includes extension of North Bend Drive, sidewalks, trail, water main, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, landscaping, pavement marking, signing and lighting.  Project also includes sidewalk, driveway, curb ramp and minor grading work for sight distance improvements on Penn Street (Division 3).

The work must commence by the late start date of March 18, 2019 and must be substantially complete on or before August 16, 2019.  The project includes a road opening bonus schedule for early completion (refer to Section 00 5200 – Agreement).

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.  Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and may obtain copies of Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents, including one unbound copy of the Bid Form and Bid Bond may be secured at DB Reprographics, Inc., 1207 Highland Court, Suite B, Iowa City, Iowa 52240, (319) 359-1069.  There is no deposit for the plans and specifications, but there is a shipping charge (UPS) of $25.00 made payable to DB Reprographics, Inc.  Bidding Documents may be viewed and ordered online at: dbreprographics.planroomdirect.com.
