North Liberty Road Improvements

RFP Overview

Sealed Bids for the construction of the North Liberty Road Improvements Project will be received, by City of North Liberty, at North Liberty City Administration Building, 3 Quail Creek Circle, until 11:00 AM local time on January 16, 2017, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project will involve the following: Construct PCC rural and urban roadway along 5,400 feet of North Liberty Road from Juniper St to Oak Lane NE. The work also involves subgrade treatment, retaining wall, storm sewer construction, driveway reconstructions, and pavement markings.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.  Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Shive-Hattery, Inc., 2839 Northgate Drive, Iowa City, IA 52245, and 319-354-3040. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents, including one unbound copy of the Bid Form and Bid Bond may be secured at DB Reprographics, Inc., 1207 Highland Court, Suite B, Iowa City, Iowa 52240, (319) 359-1069.  There is no deposit for the plans and specifications, but there is a shipping charge (UPS) of $25.00 made payable to DB Reprographics, Inc.  Bidding Documents may be viewed and ordered online at: dbreprographics.planroomdirect.com.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
