City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Penn Meadows Park North Parking Improvements

RFP Overview

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Penn Meadows Park North Parking Improvements project will be received, by City of North Liberty, at North Liberty City Administration Building, 3 Quail Creek Circle, until 10:00 AM local time on June 7, 2023, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project will involve the following: Rehab of existing parking lot with full depth asphalt patching and 3-inch overlay, including addition of new concrete curb and gutter, new entrance drive and median islands.  Construction of new concrete parking lot with two permeable paver parking bays, new entrance drive, storm sewer, and subdrain.  Work also involves trail relocation, curb ramps, pavement markings, signing, grading, landscaping, and site restoration.

The work must be substantially completed by November 17, 2023.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.  Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents: Shive-Hattery, Inc., 2839 Northgate Drive, Iowa City, IA 52245, and 319-354-3040. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and may obtain copies of Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bidding Documents also may be examined at Dodge Data & Analytics, 3315 Central Avenue, Hot Springs, AR 71913; CMD Group, 30 Technology Pkwy., Ste. 100 , Norcross, GA 30092; Master Builders of Iowa, 221 Park Street, Des Moines, IA 50309; and Fort Dodge Growth Alliance, 24 N. 9th St., Fort Dodge, IA 50501; the office of the City of North Liberty, 3 Quail Creek Circle, North Liberty, IA 52317.

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents, including one unbound copy of the Bid Form and Bid Bond may be secured at DB Reprographics, Inc., 1207 Highland Court, Suite B, Iowa City, Iowa 52240, (319) 359-1069.  There is no deposit for the plans and specifications, but there is a shipping charge (UPS) of $25.00 made payable to DB Reprographics, Inc.  Bidding Documents may be viewed and ordered online at: dbreprographics.planroomdirect.com.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
