City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

St. Andrews Drive Improvements

RFP Overview

Sealed Bids for the construction of the North Liberty St. Andrews Drive Improvements project will be received, by City of North Liberty, at North Liberty City Administration Building, 3 Quail Creek Circle, until 10:00 AM local time on January 21, 2020, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project will involve the following: Reconstruction of Saint Andrews Drive roadway and construction of a single lane roundabout at the future intersection of Alexander Way. Work includes 9-inch PCC paving, sidewalks, water main, storm sewer, sanitary force main, landscaping, pavement marking, signing, lighting, grading and site restoration.

The work must commence by the late start date of March 30, 2020 and must be substantially complete on or before August 14, 2020.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents: Shive-Hattery, Inc., 2839 Northgate Drive, Iowa City, IA 52245, and 319-354-3040. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and may obtain copies of Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

There is no deposit for the plans and specifications, but there is a shipping charge (UPS) of $25.00 made payable to DB Reprographics, Inc.
