The comfy, night out on the town takes hundreds of snugglers wearing the as-seen-on-TV hit of the 2000s to North Liberty establishments.
Snag a spot at the 7th annual event for $65. Ticket sales end on Jan. 30, 2025.
Must be 21 years or older by Feb. 1, 2025 to participate. Cheers to looking ridiculous while bundled up in sleeved blankets and drinking suds with neighbors, old friends and new friends!
Attention ticketholders: Snuggie pickup is Jan. 22, 23 and Jan. 29 at North Liberty City Hall. Check your email for details.

Move between stops on your schedule
Start the evening at any participating location. Shuttles will be on a continuous loop between the bars from 7 p.m. until midnight — departing each location every 10 minutes — so crawl to each stop whenever you wish!
The route will stop at four locations in the following order: Tin Roost/Field Day Brewing ➡️ Copper Boar American Pub ➡️ Micky’s Irish Pub ➡️ Reds Alehouse/J&A Tap ➡️ Tin Roost/Field Day…and so on.
Last pick-up is at 12 a.m., at which time the buses will make one final loop to all stops for drop-offs only.
Plan ahead for a safe night
While on the crawl, please use the provided bus to move between participating establishments. If you do walk between locations or to or from home, remember to stay on sidewalks and use designated crosswalks, as drivers may have difficulty seeing you in dark, wintry conditions.
To get home safe, please plan ahead for a designated driver, consider the closest stop to home or use one of these services:
- Our transportation partner, Express Midwest based in North Liberty, is offering safe rides home for only $5 between one of the participating Snuggie Crawl bars and a destination within North Liberty City limits. Call 319-626-5466 or tell one of the bus drivers when you are ready to request a ride. This service will be available until 12:45 a.m. Wait times will vary based on use.

Best Dressed Contest
A fun tradition of the Snuggie Crawl is to add your own flair. Breakout that BeDazzler and alter your Snuggie however you’d like (the Snuggies are light pink this year, if that helps get your wheels turning).
You certainly don’t have to amp up your Snuggie attire (approx. 50% of attendees do), but there is a Best Dressed Snuggie title up for grabs that secures you a pair of free tickets to next year’s crawl. Check out individual and group looks from past contests in 2024, 2023, 2020, 2019 and 2018.
Two pairs of tickets to next year’s Snuggie Crawl are on the line. One pair will go to the winner of Public Choice, the other to the winner of Beat the Bitter Committee Choice.
If you want to be in the running, here’s how it works:
- Summon your inner designer and put your own twist on your Snuggie.
- Take a picture with the “VOTE FOR ME!” prop in the photo booth at Copper Boar.
- We’ll share an album of submissions in the Facebook Event the week of Feb. 3, and the photo with the most LIKES will win the title of Public Choice. Committee Choice will be announced at the same time.
Optional Donation to Shelter House
Donation bins will be at each stop to collect unwanted Snuggies at the end of the night for Shelter House.
If you choose to donate your Snuggie, make sure to only do so at your last stop, as bus drivers are directed to only let Snuggie wearers on the buses. Donation bins will be near the doors of each bar. Only non-decorated Snuggies, please.
