City Hall Moved at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has relocated to 360 N. Main St., adjacent to the North Liberty Police Station.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

The Ranshaw House Concert Series Returns for Summer 2024

The series features local musicians performing on the front porch of North Liberty’s historic Ranshaw House (515 Community Drive) on Fridays from 6 to 8 p.m. in June and July.

Enjoy free performances from Calle Sur, Tanya English Band, Iowa Brass and more!

Catch up with friends and socialize as a community Friday nights in June and July on the Ranshaw House lawn. Bring a picnic, BYOB and enjoy live performances from local musicians on the historic house’s front porch.

Series Lineup - Summer 2024

June 7: Calle Sur

Immersing audiences in the soundscapes and rhythms rooted in many Latin American cultures. Edgar East and Karin Stein’s work is shaped by their life-long personal and professional experiences: both are immigrants to the United States who have undergone firsthand the process of adaptation to a new culture. The duo performs a wide range of musical styles and instruments from Latin America and the Caribbean, from mellow to upbeat, from traditional to contemporary.

June 14: Camp Cardinal

A pop punk / punk rock band playing originals and covers.

June 21: Iowa Brass

The only independent, full-time British style brass band in Iowa. They perform a wide variety of music including classical, jazz, pop, rock, Broadway and original works for brass band. Since 1986, Iowa Brass has been entertaining audiences throughout Iowa, the Midwest and beyond.

June 28: YesterNite

70s pop funk songs, covering artists like Tower of Power, the Blues Brothers and Stevie Wonder.

July 5: Pucker Street Band

A 5-piece jam band featuring electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, drums and keys. They cover 70s jam rock, like the Grateful Dead, Stevie Wonder and Bill Withers, and modern jam music, like Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews Band and Phish, with a few originals mixed in.

July 12: Tanya English Band

Playing women’s empowerment blues for the eastern Iowa audience for over twelve years. Old style and contemporary, with premier musicians.

July 19: Two-Bit Maniac

Giving their own spin to covers from a variety of genres, ranging from Classic Rock to R&B and a little bit of everything in between. Two-Bit Maniac features Aimee Underwood on vocals, Jeff Roush on guitar and Laurie Haag on percussion and bass.

July 26: Youth Night

With performances by Ingrid Streitz, Josh Gallman, Kaykilla, Ruhi.Wav, Sasha Jakob, and Sink MK. Presented in partnership with United Action for Youth.

  • Who: You! Free and no reservation needed
  • What: A free evening of good company with performances by local musicians
  • Where: Ranshaw House, 515 Community Drive, North Liberty
  • When: Fridays in June and July, with two-hour performances starting at 6 p.m.
  • Why: To catch up with friends and socialize with neighbors

Summer 2024 Schedule

What to bring

  • Lawn chairs and blankets to relax on while enjoying the performances. To allow everyone to have a view of the porch, we ask attendees to not bring pop-up tents or large sun shades.
  • A picnic from home or a local restaurant to enjoy with family and friends.
  • BYOB. While alcohol is usually prohibited in public parks, this event has been approved for BYOB of wine or beer (cans only, no glass). Alcohol must only be consumed within designated area of the park. Alcohol will not be for sale.
  • Your dog, if you’d like. They are welcome as long as they are on a leash and you clean up after them.

How to get there

  • The Ranshaw House is located north of the Community Center at 515 Community Drive.
  • Please park at the Community Center.
  • Skip the car and walk, bike or roller blade to the park!

  • Restrooms are available in the Community Center.
  • Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash and you clean up after them.
  • The use of tobacco, nicotine, vape and other electronic smoking devices are prohibited in North Liberty parks, trails and public recreation areas.
