Our indoor pool is, unfortunately closed until further notice. Last night, a motor failed and will need to be replaced. We hope to have a timeline for reopening later in the week of May 13.

City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

  4. Finish the caulked crack by hand to create a void-free, fully adhered bond.
  5. Embed sand into the outer surface of the caulk to diminish contrast between the caulk and the surrounding masonry materials.

  1. Inspect all (9) nine square feet of concrete block masonry for spalling and delamination areas.
  2. Remove loose concrete materials with hand tools to expose sound, unweathered concrete.
  3. Where rust is visible on metal reinforcement clean with steel brush or sandblasting.
  4. Coat metal reinforcement with Galvite rust inhibiting paint.
  5. Anchor 1/8 “ stainless steel pins in deteriorated areas that exceed one and one-half inches in depth as measured from the surface. Use galvanized wire mesh as required to provide further reinforcement of the patched area.
  6. Mix bonding agent with cement patching mixture and color to match original concrete in color and texture as closely as possible.
  7. Install patching material and shape with hand tools.

Project Start-up Meeting

On the first day of the project, a meeting will be held to discuss parking, access to electrical outlets and water, as well as the general scheduling of the crew’s workday.

Project Progress Meetings

Informal meetings during the project are essential.  A City representative familiar with the project will meet with the Contractor crew supervisor to review work progress, quality, and for both parties to stay informed of any difficulties which may arise.   The crew supervisor should be available to answer any questions that may arise at any time during the project.

Waste Removal

Upon completion of the work all trash, waste materials, rubbish, tools, and equipment shall be removed from the job site.  Any cost associated with trash removal and landfill charges will be the responsibility of the Contractor.
