City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Celebrate Welcoming Week with Neighbors & Flavors on Sept. 17

The City of North Liberty is celebrating Welcoming Week with a free concert and a community meal on Sunday, Sept. 17. Join us on the Ranshaw House lawn for live music from the band TURKANA, a free Mediterranean meal and connection with local organizations supporting immigrants in our community.

The five Ws

  • Who: You! Free and open to all
  • What: A live performance by TURKANA, local musicians performing Turkish folk music, and a free community meal that highlights Mediterranean cuisine
  • Where: Ranshaw House, 515 Community Drive, North Liberty
  • When: Sunday, Sept. 17, 12 to 2 p.m.
  • Why: Celebrate Welcoming Week, the annual campaign that showcases the movement of communities striving to be more welcoming places for all, including immigrants

How to get there

  • The Ranshaw House is located north of the Community Center at 515 Community Drive.
  • Please park at the Community Center.
  • Skip the car and walk, bike or roller blade to the park!

You also might be wondering

  • Restrooms are available in the Community Center.
  • Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash and you clean up after them.
  • The use of tobacco, nicotine, vape and other electronic smoking devices are prohibited in North Liberty parks, trails and public recreation areas.
  • In the event of inclement weather, Neighbors & Flavors will move inside of the Community Center.
