Forevergreen Road Closed Starting Monday, May 3rd
Greetings motorists, pederstains, bicyclists and web surfers and welcome to my new blog! I am a first-time blogger, so you’ll have to bear with me. As a rookie blogger, I am looking for pointers. Feel free to comment and provide positive suggestions.
There are some exciting things happening this construction season in North Liberty. My intent is to use this blog, along with other forms of communications, to keep you up-to-date on the most current conditions.
This Monday we’ll be kicking off the West Forevergreen Road reconstruction project. As you probably have read on our website, we are transforming FGR into a 3-lane street with curb and gutter. It will ultimately be a great facelift for this currently deteriorating sealcoat road. Starting Monday morning, the road will be closed permanently for the next 4 to 5 months. Detours will be marked. However, please plan a few extra minutes of drive time if you are a Forevergreen user.
Highway 965
The Cherry Street project has begun! Most of the work for this project is currently being completed in the ditches along Highway 965. Soon the signals at the intersection will be erected.
Stay tuned for more info. Have a great and safe weekend!
