City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Jennifer Garner named director of the North Liberty Community Library

Today, the City of North Liberty named Jennifer Garner as the director of the North Liberty Community Library.
“Jennie brings experience, enthusiasm and vision to the Community Library,” said North Liberty City Administrator Ryan Heiar. “She had shown she has ability to lead this cultural institution forward and has done an exceptional job as the interim director.”
Board of Trustees President Melissa Murphy added: “Having worked with Jennie in her roles as assistant director and interim director, we know she has been and will continue to be a great asset to the library. The Board of Trustees is delighted to welcome her to this position, and we’re looking forward to the library’s continued growth under her directorship.”
Garner has served as interim director since the beginning of the year, and as the assistant library director since 1995.
