Collaborating in the Corridor: a look at North Liberty's small business community

North Liberty has become a hub of small business development, with many businesses joining forces and working together to create something even greater. The Communications Department wanted to find out more about these collaboration efforts, and how they are beneficial to the community.
This video features a North Liberty startup that is bringing the small business community together: Blendcard. Blendcard partners with many local businesses to provide discounts, coupons, and gift cards all in one place. Also featured in the video are North Liberty business owners Katie Colony of the Colony Pumpkin Patch and Kris Tharp of We Run, who also weigh in on how the partnership with Blendcard is helping their businesses and the community as a whole.
“One of our goals is to add value to the local community. If we make it easier for local consumers to support local businesses, then it’s a win-win for the community,” said Paul Kongshaug, founder and CEO of Blendcard.
We love seeing small businesses work together, especially when they’re based in North Liberty! Keep up the good work!
