City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Weekender: May 15, 16, 17

The weekend starts early: support the North Liberty Community Pantry at its Friday morning golf tournament, hosted at Brown Deer Golf Club. Breakfast, 18 holes and a sneak-peek barbecue lunch catered by the not-yet-opened Mosley’s. Registration is open now until 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
The North Liberty Community Library hosts its first Neon Prom, an adults-only BYOB event hosted after hours. “Yeah, we party,” said organizers. RSVP on the Facebook event or by calling (319) 626-5701. Or just crash the party. It’s starts at 8 p.m.
You’ll need to sleep in Saturday, so send the kids over the library at 11 a.m. for storytime. If you’re going with them, it’s cool to wear sunglasses inside.
On Sunday, the weekly farmers’ market runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m at Penn Landing. Penn Landing Market features two dozen purveyors of local produce, farm-fresh and handmade goods, ready-to-eat food and more.
