City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Taekwondo classes now offered four nights a week

Taekwondo_kickClasses in Taekwondo, the Korean martial art, will be available four nights a week at through the North Liberty Community Center starting in February.
On Monday and Thursday nights, from 5 to 6:30 starting in February, Oscar Perez, Second Dan TKDCCBBA, of Chol Choe’s Academy, teaches self-control, self-confidence, discipline, courtesy and self-defense.
On Tuesday and Wednesday nights, from 5:30 to 6:30 (for children) 6:30 to 7:30 (for adults), Masters Shawn Story and Nick Messersmith, teach respect, discipline and self control with kicks, blocks, hand strikes and forms for their respective levels.
