City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Recreation Department Tells Patrons to Get Bent

North Liberty’s Recreation Department has a host of yoga classes — both indoors and outdoors — this summer.

Starry Eyed Yoga

$5 per class; 8:30 p.m. on June 20 and July 18; 8 p.m. on Aug. 15 and Aug. 29

Bring your yoga mat and join your friends for an outdoor, yoga-filled evening. As the summer sun sets, we’ll host a session in the grass by the outdoor pool deck.

Outdoor Yoga

$5 per class; 8:15 a.m. on June 8, June 22, July 13, July 27, Aug. 10 and Aug. 24

Kick off your summer weekends with outdoor sessions lead by Beth McClelland. All levels are welcome.

Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga 1

$6 per class, or discounted monthly session; Mondays at 9 a.m. in June, July and August

A class, led by Amy Reyhons, that’s wonderful for beginners or anyone looking for a gentler session. The class focuses on breath work, stretching, strengthening and balance with a slower flow of movements.

Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga 2

$6 per class, or discounted monthly session; Mondays at 10 a.m. in June, July and August

Classes, led by Amy Reyhons, move through a series of poses with steady holds, core work, balance and a quicker flow of movements.
