Road Closure: Main Street from Dubuque and Cherry for City Hall Water Connection

Beginning Monday, April 10, 2023, Main Street will close. The closure is necessary to make connect the new City Hall, 360 Main St., to water. The closure is expected to last through Friday, April 14, but will be dependent on weather.

In preparation for this work, six properties on Main Street will lose water at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, April 7. Impacted customers will be contacted directly. Water service is expected to be restored the same day. Update: the boil order for these homes has been lifted after testing.

Drivers are asked to use caution around the work site, allow extra travel time, and find alternative routes when possible.
