City Hall Closed Wednesday, April 24, for Move

City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, so staff can move from the current, leased offices to the new, permanent building.

The final day of operations at 3 Quail Creek Center will be Tuesday, April 23.

City Hall will reopen at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m. on Thursday, April 25.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Discover Everything the Community Center has to Offer on Sept. 14

Come discover what the Community Center has to offer during our open house with free trial classes, mini-personal training and nutrition sessions and information booths, and well as one-night-only deals on memberships and personal training services.  Free childcare is available (children should be toilet trained) and food trucks will be on site with food for purchase.

The open house is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 14, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Community Center, 520 W Cherry St. Admission is free.

The following will be offered during the open house:

  • Free 30-minute trials of Body Blast/Sculpt, Tippi Toes, yoga and Zumba: 6, 6:35, 7:10, 7:45
  • Free 15-minute personal training and nutritional service sessions. Register starting Sept. 1 at 6 a.m. in person with the Recreation Department, by phone at (319) 626-5716 or online at northliberty.recdesk.com (search “open house”).
  • Pickleball instruction
  • Learn about activity packs, Club 24, daily fees and memberships, financial assistance, fitness classes, library services, Pee-Wee program, pickleball, rentals, Recesters, Supreme leagues, water safety and more.
  • Deals, only available during the open house, include buy one, get one free for any membership; $25 off three personal training sessions; or $50 off five personal training sessions.

Rodney’s Jamaican Jerk & BBQ and Deja Brew Coffee House & Bakery will be on site with food to purchase.
