Christmas and New Year’s Hours Announced for 2023

On Monday, Dec. 25, Tuesday, Dec. 26, Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, and Monday, Jan. 1, 2024, the city’s offices, including City Hall at 3 Quail Creek Circle, will be closed for the holidays. Other services and facilities will be closed or have adjusted hours as follows.

Aquatics & Recreation

The facilities will be closed Dec. 24, Dec. 25, Dec. 26, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

The facilities will be open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29.

Fire

Administrative offices will be closed, but responses will operate as normal.

Library

The library will be closed Dec. 24, Dec. 25, Dec. 26, Dec. 29, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

Police

Administrative offices will be closed, but patrol will operate as normal.

Trash and Recycling Collection

Collections for trash, recycling, yard waste and compost will be delayed one day for the weeks of Dec. 24 and Dec. 31. Addresses west of Ranshaw Way (Highway 965) will be collected on Wednesdays Dec. 27 and Jan. 3; addresses east of Ranshaw Way (Highway 965) will be collected Thursdays Dec. 28 and Jan. 4.

Update: Our contractor has committed to collecting trees curbside on collection day the first week of January. We are requesting an extension of this service, but cannot guarantee it past this week.
