City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Ride Around North Liberty Lights Feb. 10

Enjoy the North Liberty Lights display with a free bike carriage ride around Liberty Centre Pond.

  • What: Free pedicab rides around Liberty Centre Pond’s North Liberty Lights display.
  • Where: Liberty Centre Pond, 820 W Cherry St.
  • When: Saturday, Feb. 10, between 6 and 8 p.m.
  • Why: Enjoy North Liberty Lights in a unique way.

What to expect

Rides will depart from the gazebo at the southeast corner of Liberty Centre Pond. Guests will be provided rides on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations. Each carriage can accommodate up two adults and two small children.

What to bring

  • Your camera. North Liberty Lights offers unique photo opportunities around the pond.
  • Warm clothes. This event is outside; please dress appropriately to be able to enjoy the event.
  • Tips for the bikers are appreciated, but not required.

How to get there

Liberty Centre Pond is located at 820 W Cherry Street. Attendees may park at the North Liberty Community Center and use the Ranshaw Way underpass, or park in nearby business lots or on residential streets.
