City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Good Neighbor Meeting: Property Located at NE Corner of Hwy 965/Ranshaw Way and N Dubuque St.

Buck Moon Villas, LLC has submitted a zoning map amendment (rezoning) from RS-6 Single-Unit Residential District to RM-12 Multi-Unit Residence District on 1.0 acres on property generally located at the northeast corner of Highway 965/Ranshaw Way and North Dubuque Street. The purpose of the request is to allow an additional two lots in the proposed Buck Moon Villas subdivision to be developed with two-unit or multi-unit residences.

No formal staff review of the proposed rezoning has been completed, nor have Planning Commission or City Council considered the request. It is anticipated that this request will be considered at the May 7, 2024 Planning Commission meeting. However, based on input received at the good neighbor meeting, the request could change or be delayed. Please visit Planning and Zoning to view upcoming agendas and meeting information.

Good neighbor meetings are intended to allow an applicant to share the details of the application, answer questions, and receive feedback prior to formal consideration by the Planning Commission. Initially, the applicant will provide a brief description of the request. Thereafter, there will be an opportunity to answer any questions and/or voice concerns. City staff will be present to moderate and answer any procedural questions.

If you register for the meeting and plan to attend, please be prompt as the meeting with begin a few minutes after the start time. If no one outside of City staff and the applicant attends, the meeting will end 10 minutes after the start time.
