Indoor pool closed

Our indoor pool is, unfortunately closed until further notice. Last night, a motor failed and will need to be replaced. We hope to have a timeline for reopening later in the week of May 13.

City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Jump into Summer (and a Foam Pit) with the North Liberty Library

Jump start summer and register for the summer reading program on the Ranshaw House lawn.

The five Ws

  • Who: You! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • What: A foam party, waterslide bouncy house and more to kick off the North Liberty Library’s Summer Reading Program.
  • Where: Ranshaw House lawn, 515 Community Drive.
  • When: Wednesday, May 22, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Why: To get excited for summer and register for the Summer Reading Program!

Programming

  • Join us for a foam party and inflatables for all ages — come prepared to get wet!
  • Enjoy a sweet treat from Kona Ice.
  • Register for the library’s Summer Reading Program. This summer’s theme is Read. Return. Repeat.
  • Hills Bank, MidWestOne, and Urban Acres will also be onsite with activities.
  • Visit the Bike Rodeo while you’re here.

How to get there

  • The Ranshaw House is located to the north of the Community Center at 515 Community Drive.
  • Parking is available in the Community Center parking lot.
  • May is Bike Month, so skip the car and bike (or walk) to the event!

  • Restrooms will be available in the Community Center.
  • Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash and you clean up after them.
  • The use of tobacco, nicotine, vape and other electronic smoking devices are prohibited in North Liberty parks, trails and public recreation areas.
  • This event is outside.
