Our indoor pool is, unfortunately closed until further notice. Last night, a motor failed and will need to be replaced. We hope to have a timeline for reopening later in the week of May 13.

City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Support North Liberty Blues & BBQ at the Pig & Pint Prelude July 12

The 16th annual North Liberty Blues & BBQ will take place on Saturday, July 13, and festival fans have the opportunity to purchase tickets to the kickoff fundraiser, the Pig & Pint Prelude, taking place the evening before on Friday, July 12.

The Pig & Pint Prelude will take place under the big tent in Centennial Park on July 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. Proceeds support North Liberty Blues & BBQ’s commitment to keeping Saturday’s admission, kids’ fun and live music free to attendees. This year’s event will be catered by Netflix Barbecue Showdown Season 2 Champion Thyron Mathews of T&T BBQ out of Oelwein, IA.

All-inclusive tickets include:

  • Entrance to the intimate Blues & BBQ kickoff event
  • A barbecue buffet from Netflix Barbecue Showdown Champion T&T BBQ
  • A gourmet cupcake from Jamie Cakes
  • Live music from Marc Janssen & the Locals
  • All you care to drink craft beer pours
  • Commemorative event pint glass
  • Photo opportunities
  • Pride in supporting the festival

Tickets are on sale for $70 per ticket or $550 for a table of eight, through the end of May. Starting June 1 tickets will increase to $75 per ticket or $600 for a table of eight. To guarantee seats together with your friends, family or coworkers, please consider reserving a table for eight as individual tickets will not have assigned seating.  There will not be a formal program, just good old fashioned community building.

To avoid online processing fees, individuals and businesses may also reserve seats via email by contacting Angela Millard at [email protected] or 319-626-5770, and writing a check to the City of North Liberty and mailing it to the City of North Liberty at PO Box 77, North Liberty, IA 52317.
