From sealcoat to gravel

The Forevergreen Road Project is moving along!  The contractors have started removing the trees from the new right-of-way and tearing up the old seal coat road.  At this point, Forevergreen Road is open only to local traffic.  Please respect the local property owners and construction workers and stay off the road.  Detour signs are posted to get you around the construction.  The utilities are being installed underground and soon grading will begin.

Don’t forget to support the businesses on FRG.  As with any project, it can cause havoc on a business affected by construction.  Customers of Joyce’s Greenhouse and Colony Campground generally use FGR to get to the business.  As already stated, detours have been posted.  These businesses are open…stop out to see them today!

Highway 965 continues to move along.  It won’t be long until you see a lot of heavy machinery along the highway making the improvements.

Keep checking our website and this blog for updates.  Be safe out there!
