City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Kick It with Friends at the NLYC Youth Kickball Tournament on May 11

The North Liberty Youth Council invites junior high and high school students to participate in a co-ed kickball tournament at Diamond Dreams on Saturday, May 11. Enjoy free pizza, snacks and drinks. A free t-shirt will be given to all players and prizes will be awarded to tournament winners.

Advance registration is required to play in this tournament. Registration is free and open to anyone in junior high or high school. Register your full team of 5-8 players by May 4 at the link below. Or if you don’t have a full team, register as an individual and we’ll add you to a team.

The NLYC program invites local high school students to engage more deeply with the city, develop leadership skills, support the community through service projects and advocate for other young people in North Liberty.
