Rain: good for the garden, not so good for the street projects
Posted on: May 11, 2010
For Mother’s Day this year, my son Tanner and I planted a perennial flower garden for my wife. I hate to brag, but I did a pretty good job for a guy who sits behind a desk most of the day. Anyway, the rain this week is exactly what the garden needed. Unfortunately, that is not so for the Forevergreen Road project. Work has come to a standstill on the project because of the rain and muddy conditions. It looks as though that will be the story for most, if not all of this week. As the contractors pick back up, I will keep you posted. In the meantime, turn off your watering hose and let mother nature take care of your garden.
Be safe and stay dry…
