East Penn Street closed in North Liberty for construction

December 10, 2012—East Penn Street will be closed from the intersection of North Dubuque Street to North Front Street from Wednesday, December 12 through late Friday, December 14 to facilitate utility hook up. The road is expected to reopen no later than Saturday morning—contingent on weather. Traffic control signs will be in place to detour cars via Dubuque and Front Street.
Construction Inspector Bill Minor says, “Houses are being built in the area. It is necessary to connect water and sewer services, which require temporarily closing the roads. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
For additional information about road closures, contact Bill Minor at the City of North Liberty: 319-626-5727 or [email protected].
