Residents select June 13, 2015 for city-wide garage sales

Last year, Fun Days organizers announced the end of their annual spring event. Wanting to keep part of the tradition alive, some local residents stepped up to organize the 2015 city-wide garage sales.
The garage sale date is scheduled for June 13, 2015, and residents can sign up to list their sales using this form. A listing will be available for download and printing starting on June 11, 2015. Updates will be shared on the city’s Facebook page
When advertising your sale, please keep in mind North Liberty’s sign ordinance relating to garage and yard sales:
- Garage sale signs are permitted in all zones but only on the property to which they apply.
- Garage sale signs shall be displayed not for more than 48 hours before or more than four hours after the end of the sale.
- Such signs shall not be larger than four square feet and no more than 2 signs may be posted for any garage sale.
- Such signs shall not be located within the street right-of-way between the curb and sidewalk. They shall not be located on gravel shoulders, within landscaped areas or obstructing landscaped areas at street intersections, nor shall they be attached to any traffic control posts or other public structures.
- A permit is not required for garage sale signs.
