The University of Iowa Athletic Department is hosting North Liberty Community Day on Saturday, Sept. 5, when the Iowa Hawkeye football team hosts Illinois State in its 2015 season opener. For the game, any member of the North Liberty community can purchase an unlimited number of $40 group rate adult tickets and $25 youth tickets.  The single game ticket price is $55 per seat.
“We recognize that there are a significant number of Hawkeye fans in North Liberty that may have never had the opportunity to visit Kinnick Stadium,” said Rick Klatt, the UI’s director of external relations. “We are offering discounts to make it more affordable to come the first time or to make a repeat visit.”
“We hope the city of North Liberty and its residents will have a significant presence in the stadium and that all enjoy a game day on the UI campus,” Klatt added, noting that the ticket program is available to any community in the state.
The record for ticket sales by one community was set several years ago by Grinnell when they sold 526 tickets. To order by phone call (319) 626-8286 or visit Bravo Sports’ website.
