City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

We’re Looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator

The city’s Communications Department has an opening for a new member (technically a “community engagement coordinator”).

This position is responsible for leading special events (such as North Liberty Blues & BBQ and the growing Beat the Bitter) and developing and implementing new community engagement efforts, and assisting with public relations, communications, marketing and promotional activities for the city’s Communications Department.

Successful candidates will be forward-thinking, self-starting and willing to seek new ways of connecting with North Liberty’s young and growing community (we like to try new things). This is a professional, full-time permanent  position and requires a bachelor’s degree and two years of work experience in the field or similar experience. Proficiency in digital communications is required, and additional experience in video, photography, graphic design or similar experience is preferred. Download the full job description here.
