City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

The City of North Liberty uses social media as a public service to disseminate information. We encourage comments, concerns, and questions regarding any of the topics on our social media pages. While this is an open forum, it’s also a family-friendly one, so please keep your comments and posts clean. You participate at your own risk, and need to take personal responsibility for your comments, your username and any information provided. Comments and posts that violate any of the guidelines listed below may be removed in the City’s discretion:

  1. Do not post graphic, obscene, explicit or racial comments. We also do not allow comments that are abusive, hateful, vindictive or intended to defame anyone or any organization.
  2. Do not post any commercial solicitations (e.g.: asking users to “like” your Facebook page, visit your website, sign a petition).
  3. Do not post advertisements, prize contests or giveaways. This includes promotion or endorsement of any financial, commercial or non-governmental agency. Similarly, we do not allow attempts to defame or defraud any financial, commercial or non-governmental agency.
  4. Do not post details about an ongoing investigation or legal or administrative proceeding that could prejudice the processes or could interfere with an individual’s rights.
  5. Apparent spamming or trolling will be removed and may cause the author to be blocked from the page without notice.
  6. Do not post copyrighted or trademarked images or graphics. Imagery posted on the Facebook wall should be owned by the user.
  7. Do not post comments, photos or videos that suggest or encourage illegal activity.
  8. Do not post political propaganda.
  9. Do not post off-topic comments.

The appearance of external links or the use of third-party applications on this site does not constitute official endorsement on behalf of the City of North Liberty. The City of North Liberty reserves the right to deny access to its social media sites for any individual who violates this policy, at any time and without prior notice. The City reserves the right to restrict or remove any content that is deemed in violation of this social media policy or any applicable law. In any instance where the Communications Director determined that a user has violated this policy, the user may appeal that decision to the City Administrator.
