Fairview Lane to temporarily close this week

There is a lot happening on Highway 965 this week.  The contractors are finishing up on the north side of the driveways on Quail Creek Circle and Club House Drive.  Once these are completed (hopefully this week), they will open them up and start on the south side of the drives.

The big item for the week is that starting Friday, Fairview Lane will be closed for approximately 10 days.  The reason for the closure is to finish widening the street (adding the turn lanes), to install curb and gutter and to place the brick pavers for the crosswalk.  As long as weather cooperates, the street should be opened back up within 10 days.  The driveway on the north side of Fairview Lane, which provides access to the shopping center, will be open.  Those traveling east on Fairview will be able to use that drive.

No doubt you’ve notice the stop light at Cherry Street and Highway 965.  I have used it a bunch already.  I’d be interested to hear your thoughts as to how the new light is working out for you.
