City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Upcoming closure of Jones Boulevard

May 11, 2011 — Jones Boulevard will be closed between Penn Street and Liberty Way for construction utility work on Thursday and/or Friday (May 12/13), weather permitting.  Motorists are advised to use Cherry Street as a detour route during this time.
City Administrator Ryan Heiar says, “There are many construction projects throughout the summer in North Liberty. We are excited about the convenience these projects will offer when they are completed. In the meantime, there will be road closures and delays. We apologize for any inconvenience. We are sure to post regular updates on the city website and social networking sites. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding.”
