Goats on the Go visits Penn Elementary

In March the Iowa City School District signed a contract with Goats on the Go to handle some of their underbrush problems around Penn Elementary’s playground. Goats on the Go is an Ames-based targeted grazing company used to combat troublesome weeds, brush and other invasive plant species without the use of herbicides. The goats cleared almost two acres of brush at Penn Elementary last week before heading south to clear parts of Shimek Elementary in Iowa City as well.
