City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Clear Creek Watershed Coalition invites homeowners to learn more about its cost-sharing program

Clear Creek Watershed Coalition will be hosting two landowner meeting opportunities to learn about the Iowa Watershed Approach and sign up for technical assistance for conservation best management practice installation. Land from approximately Penn Street south and Jones Boulevard west drains into Clear Creek, and landowners are encouraged to attend to learn about eligible conservation practices, and the availability of grants to cover 75 percent of cost for storm water quality improvement projects.

The meetings are scheduled for Monday, Jan. 29, 6 p.m. at the Kent Park Conservation Education Center, and Tuesday, Jan. 30, 6 p.m. at the Williamsburg Public Library. Dinner is provided at both meetings, but space is limited. Attendees are asked to RSVP online or by
