In-person Recreation Classes Canceled as COVID-19 Cases Rise

With the dramatic rise in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, the North Liberty Recreation Department has indefinitely cancelled all in-person classes, effective immediately. This change impacts swimming and dance lessons, sports leagues and fitness classes. Class refunds are being processed.

Appointments for facility use are still available for members to lap swim, use cardio and weight equipment, and gyms at this time. Appointments are available at northliberty.recdesk.com.

Under our heightened COVID-19 protocols, users are required to wear masks at all times while in the facility, with the exception of while swimming, and maintain six feet of distance from others. All users must undergo a health screening.

These programming changes are being implemented to protect our staff and our community by limiting the spread of COVID-19.

Patrons with questions about these changes can contact recreation staff at 319-626-5716.
