City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Good Neighbor Meeting for Property Located North of West Forevergreen Road and East of South Kansas Avenue

The Bowman Property, LLC may submit and the City may soon consider a zoning map amendment (rezoning) on 108.43 acres, more or less, from ID Interim Development District to C-2-A Highway Commercial District (6.89 acres), RM-12 Multi-Unit Residence District (61.83 acres), RD-10 Two-Unit Residence District (25.05 acres) and RS-6 Single-Unit Residence District (15.66 acres). The property is located north of West Forevergreen Road and east of South Kansas Avenue. The purpose of the rezoning is facilitate development of the property with commercial uses and a variety of residential housing types.

No formal staff review of the proposed rezoning has been completed, nor have Planning Commission or City Council considered the request. However, the rezoning may be considered as early as November 2, 2021 by the Planning Commission.
