City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

No Parents Allowed: July 23 is Tween Night at the Outdoor Pool

A free private event at the outdoor pool, no parents allowed, on Saturday, July 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. This pool party is intended for kids 12 through 14.

The five Ws

  • Who: This pool party is intended for kids 12 through 14. There is no registration.
  • What: A pool party with games, pizza and more just for tweens.
  • Where: Outdoor pool
  • When: July 23 from 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Why: To meet and hang out with fellow tweens!

What to expect

  • Photos at a selfie station
  • Pool deck games
  • Complimentary pizza and snacks. The concession stand will also be open for purchases.
  • Free swimming

The outdoor pool is located at 520 W Cherry St. Enter the pool deck from the outside gate.

  • This event is free. No daily fee or membership is required to swim during this designated time.
  • Lifeguards will be on duty.
  • The use of tobacco, nicotine, vape and other electronic smoking devices are prohibited in North Liberty parks, trails and public recreation areas.
  • Since this event is outside, there are no additional COVID mitigations.
