City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

ZZ Ward headlines North Liberty Blues & BBQ on July 8

ZZ Ward, known for her two critically acclaimed albums and collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Fantastic Negrito and Gary Clark, Jr., will bring her unique blend of high-energy blues to headline North Liberty Blues & BBQ presented by Veridian Credit Union on July 8, festival organizers announced today.

ZZ Ward will perform on the GreenState Credit Union stage at 9 p.m., capping a lineup of exciting live, blues-inspired music programmed in partnership with The Englert Theatre as the festival celebrates its 15th year with callbacks to festival favorites. ZZ Ward will be supported by performances from Kevin Burt & Big Medicine at 7 p.m., Hector Anchondo at 5 p.m., The Diplomats of Solid Sound at 3:30 p.m., James Tutson & the Rollback at 2 p.m., Dave Moore at 12:30 and The Wilted at 11 a.m. Entry to the festival, in Centennial Park, 1565 St. Andrews Drive, North Liberty, including live music, remains free.
