Learn About Street Improvements Coming in 2024

Update: the presentation is below.

The City of North Liberty has some street improvements planned for the 2024 construction season and is hosting a online open house where the public can hear from the project teams about the work and ask questions on Friday, March 29, 2024, at noon. Registration is required and available online.

During the hour-long open house, the team will talk about three city-led projects planned for the 2024 construction season:

West Penn Street: reconstruction from Herky Street to and including the intersection of James Avenue, in cooperation with Johnson County.

Penn Street railroad crossing: reconstruction of road at the railroad crossing.

Forevergreen Road signals: permanent traffic signals installed at Kansas Avenue and Jones Boulevard, with turn lanes and pedestrian accommodations.

More information about projects, and future updates can be found at northlibertyiowa.org/projects. The public can sign up to receive project updates and closure notices, among other emails, at northlibertyiowa.org/subscribe.
