Have leaves to the curb by Nov. 30 for the final round of curbside collection

City crews will soon begin the final pass through North Liberty. To ensure collection, residents should have the leaves to the curb by 7 a.m., Monday, Nov. 30, 2020.

Crews will not return to any street once collection there has been completed, including for leaves raked after the area has been collected or for piles crews couldn’t collect due to parked cars.

Final collection will take longer than previous years as we make operational changes to protect the health of our staff and so they are available for priority tasks such as snow removal.

Encouraging Entrepreneurship

The Small Business Development Program is designed to help fill the financial gaps new and expanding businesses might encounter with loans up to $25,000 for terms up to five years.

Our goal is to help create sustainable businesses with preference given to companies in advanced manufacturing, information technology, biosciences and other innovative industries.

By working with the University of Iowa’s John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center, a program partner, entrepreneurs get further help developing their organization.

We helped BlendCard, an innovative customer loyalty program, so it could move its program into new markets, and supported Moxie Solar, a state leader in solar energy infrastructure, so it could meet the rapidly growing demand for its services.
