Last Week’s Dessert Recipe: Indoor S’mores

2/3 Cups white corn syrup

2 Tablespoons butter

1 (12 oz.) package milk chocolate chips

Bring all to a boil, stirring constantly.

Then mix in:

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

8 cups (10 oz.) Golden grahams cereal

Mix well, then add 3 cups mini marshmallows, one cup at a time. Put in a sheet pan as bars, or roll into “cookies” by hand. Cool at room temperature. Makes 4 dozen small cookies.

Every week we ask for two volunteers to sign up to bring dessert to Friday lunch. If you are one of those two, you get your meal for free! If you would like to include your dessert recipe in this newsletter, email it to Corrie at [email protected] or write it down and bring it to Friday lunch with your dessert so she can make a copy!
