City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

The Activity Guide for Summer 2024 is Now Available

The Summer 2024 Activity Guide is now available online, covering recreation, aquatic, library and community programming and events offered May to August 2024. Registration for most recreation programs begins April 1 for North Liberty residents in-person at the Community Center or online.

We offer a monthly newsletter featuring upcoming programming highlights from the Recreation DepartmentLibrary and other city departments. Sign up to get it delivered to your inbox at northlibertyiowa.org/subscribe.

Highlights of this guide include:

  • Upcoming City Slate events, including Remarkable Rigs (May 18), the Summer Reading Program Kick-Off Party (May 22), the Ranshaw House Concert Series (Fridays in June and July), Let Love Fly (June 8), Camp North Liberty (June 21-22), Fireworks & Classic Cars (July 3), Street Dance (Aug. 17) and more.
  • Programs for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, including Tippie Toes Dance classes and camps, Library Storytimes, Pee-Wee Sports and more.
  • Camps and activities for youth, including Swim Lessons, Recsters Summer Camp, Rec Ramblers, and Youth Sports, including Ultimate Frisbee, Pickleball, Tennis and more.
  • Adult Fitness Classes and Water Fitness Classes, including Aqua Zumba, Beginners Yoga, Hapkido Jiujitsu, Total Body Sculpt, Water Resistance and more.
  • Programming for adults and seniors, including Adult Pickleball League, Euchre Club, Reading Party, Trivia Night and more.

Registration for recreation programs starts April 1 online and in person. To register for recreation programming online, create a RecDesk account and pay by credit card. To register in person, stop by the front desk at the Community Center, 520. W. Cherry St, weekdays between 6 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. and pay with cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
